Shriram Seva Ashram Samiti (“Samiti“, “we“, “us“, “our“) is a social service organization based in Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh, India, working for service, cooperation and human welfare. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through shriramsevaashram.org (the “Website“), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Website, you agree to this Policy.

a) Information you give us
When you fill out the form on our Contact page, we collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your mobile number
- The subject of your enquiry (General Inquiry, Donation Support, Volunteering, Program Support, Partnership or Other)
- The message you write to us
If you call, email or message us directly (including on WhatsApp, Facebook or YouTube), we receive the details you choose to share.
b) Donation information
Our Website does not process online card or net-banking payments. Donations are made directly by you through UPI or bank transfer (NEFT / IMPS / RTGS) to the account details shown on our Donate page. We do not collect or store your card numbers, PINs, OTPs or banking passwords. When you donate, we may receive your name, transaction reference and amount from our bank statement, and any details you share with us when requesting a receipt. To issue an 80G donation receipt, we may also ask for your PAN and postal address, as required under the Income-tax Act. We use these only to prepare receipts and meet our tax and record-keeping obligations, and keep them for as long as the law requires.
c) Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our Website and hosting provider may automatically record technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, date and time of visit, and referring page. This is used for security, performance and understanding how the Website is used.
2. How We Use Your Information

- To coordinate volunteering, partnerships and programs you ask about
- To confirm and acknowledge donations and, where requested, issue receipts

If you or your child appears in any content and you would like it removed, please contact us and we will act on it promptly.

Please never share your card PIN, OTP or banking passwords with anyone claiming to represent us.
